Say Hello to Thunderbird Street X350! Haldankar Customs is a Mumbai based bike modifier who once converted a cruiser friendly Royal Enfield Thunderbird into a powerful Street fighter and named it ‘X350’. Since that day, the images of the X350 have been doing rounds on the internet.
The only factors that claim it to be a Thunderbird 350 is its RE traditional engine and the silver side panel below the rider’s seat. The changes are visually appealing and more into the performance biking segment.
The rounded fuel tank from the Thunderbird 350 has been replaced with a street fighter style, chiseled fuel tank on the X350. Haldankar Customs replaced the front section with a sport oriented USD suspension, fiber based front fender and LED indicators.
The single, long seat is quite comfortable from the first look and look more like a floating seat with no panels or frame units around itself. However, the brake light and indicators are fitted on its end only.
The rear tyre hugger is placed right above the wheel, mocking the Yamaha FZ design and keeping the rider and pillion dirt free on all roads. They have even replaced the rear disc with a petal type disc on the Thunderbird 350.
The swing-arm now holds 180 section rear wheel on the X350. A custom semi digital instrument console is placed in between the sporty handlebar of the motorcycle.
X350 is powered by the same 346 cc, air cooled engine producing 19.8 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The custom exhaust and lower overall weight makes it a better performer in all terms. The motorcycle now looks more in competition with Ducati Monster series of India.
